Sempra Pipelines & Storage built Liberty Gas Storage in Louisiana's Calcasieu and Beauregard parishes. This ideal project site near many interstate pipelines enables Liberty Gas Storage to provide a wide range of storage-related services to liquefied natural gas (LNG) shippers, producers, local industrial end users, distribution companies, gas marketers and others. Pipeline operations began in 2007, and underground natural gas storage injections are expected to begin in April 2008.
