Sempra Pipelines & Storage has a 43-percent interest in two Argentine natural gas utility-holding companies, Sodigas Pampeana S.A. and Sodigas Sur S.A. The Sodigas companies control Camuzzi Gas Pampeana S.A. and Camuzzi Gas del Sur S.A., which are jointly the largest natural gas distributor in Argentina in volume, providing gas to about 45 percent of the country; from the province of Buenos Aires to the Patagonia. They supply gas to more than 1.5 million customers, more than 28 percent of the overall demand, through a gas transportation-and-distribution pipeline system.
