Cameron Interstate Pipeline is a 36-mile, 42-inch interstate pipeline in south Louisiana. The pipeline links the Cameron LNG terminal being built by Cameron LNG in Cameron Parish, La., to four interstate pipelines that transport natural gas to major market areas in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast and to the Liberty Gas Storage facility also built by Sempra Pipelines & Storage.

Cameron Interstate Pipeline is certificated for a capacity of 2.35 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and was placed into service in 2008.
